1. Formula One Italian Grand Prix 2015 in Monza, less than 20 km from Milan
The names of great drivers and the sounds of engines from years gone by linger in the grand old trees surrounding the track in the royal park. Originally built in 1922, it was the world’s third permanent race circuit and the Italians still call it ‘La Pista Magica’, the magic track – a description few would disagree with.

2. The City’s football team AC Milan meets its fans
Football team A.C. Milan meets its fans, during the event Casa Milan Village 2015, organized by Casa Milan. Starting from 10 to 13 September football lovers will have the chance of meeting AC Milan’s players, from today’s and yesterday’s Serie A league, and take photos with them. Milan Academy will offer football lessons, while other side events will take place in the weekend both for children and adults, such as face painting, street art, football fields, food, beverage, live music, inflatable slides, concert of the Italian band Zero Assoluto. 4. Vogue Fashion’s Night Out and the Milan Fashion Week
Vogue Fashion’s Night Out (22 September) is the special night to announce the inauguration of Milan Fashion Week (23-29 September). More than 600 shops get ready for the occasion with late-openings (until midnight), while the following day catwalks and Fashion-Week related events will make Milan, again, the place to be.

Giotto, Italy. From Assisi to Milano, the spectacular Milanese Fall exhibition dedicated to the 14th century artist who transformed Italian figurative language, starts on 2 September.

6. Leonardo, a Unique Performance
During Expo Milano 2015, a unique live ‘permanent’ event entitled “Essere Leonardo da Vinci. Intervista Impossibile” will be staged at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia. Every Saturday, until 31 October (6pm), a one-of-a-kind theatre performance, developed by director and actor Massimiliano Finazzer Flory, will trace the life of the Italian Renaissance genius.
