The Fuorisalone returns again this year in conjunction with the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2023. As in previous editions, Fuorisalone 2023 presents a set of events distributed in different areas of Milan, featuring the endorsement of Milan’s Municipality.
Conceived to turn design and some of the leading brands active in the sector into the protagonists of various areas of the city – known as Design Districts – the Fuorisalone event includes themed events, exhibitions, pop-up shows, performances, presentations, concerts, DJ sets and special projects related to the world of design, furniture and innovations in living solutions.

The theme 2023
The theme of the Fuorisalone 2023 is “Laboratorio Futuro” (Future Lab) offering a reflexion on how we imagine our future, in connection with the unique times we are living. This edition sheds light on the themes of sustainable design, circular economy, innovation in materials, urban regeneration and artificial intelligence.

Among the main initiatives scheduled for this year, one cannot miss the appointments in the most important district of the Milan Design Week: Brera Design District.
Promoting the theme proposed by Fuorisalone “Laboratorio Futuro”, Brera Design Week 2023 activates a reflection on the challenges of contemporaneity by developing the parallel theme “Future in Now“. More than 250 events are planned for this edition, which gives space to projects and practices capable of triggering actions of change.
