About the Advent Calendar
As a tradition, Milan welcomes the festive season with its well-loved Advent Calendar, which has now been introduced in its brand-new online version. As the ongoing pandemic does not allow gatherings, the traditional Advent Calendar featuring local musicians performing daily from the opening windows of a building overlooking the Duomo Square has been switched online.
How does it work?
Every day, at 5pm, those wishing to experience the creative versions of the most loved Christmas tradition can visit the YesMilano official website and get enchanted by the marvellous festive atmosphere. From dance to theatre, spanning from classical music and jazz concerts, up to musicals and choirs, every day an online window opens to enveil a new performance.
Orchestras, dance troupes, theatre companies and many other Milanese artists will warm the hearts of adults and kids alike with a daily short surprise homage.
