NEW OPENING – Or just BIG. This is the name of the brand new exhibition space located on the basement floor of the historic Palazzo Mezzanotte, the headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange in Piazza Affari. A space created as part of the Italian Stock Exchange’s ‘Finance For Fine Arts’ program designed to promote and support Italy’s artistic and cultural heritage. The entire project is based on the conviction that the restoration of artworks should go hand-in-hand with the improvement of their visibility for collective enjoyment. For this reason, in addition to their restoration, the gallery has advocated the digitalization and display of works, a project also undertaken for several masterpieces housed at the Pinacoteca di Brera. The Gallery can be visited on request or when initiatives, organised by Palazzo Mezzanotte for the public, are underway.
