Founded in 1972 and directed by Andrée Ruth Shammah, Teatro Franco Parenti is in Italy one of the cultural and artistic references in constant evolution between tradition, research and innovation. It is a creative production laboratory with masters, talents, international projects, capable of mixing cultures and languages, from the word to the body, image, music, meetings and debates and able to involve more than 100 thousand people a year with at least three simultaneous events a day for 11 months of programming. The venue is a great creative forge in the heart of the city, where in 5,400 square meters including halls, foyers, bars and outdoor spaces the languages of culture and art can dialogue.
Attached to the Teatro Franco Parenti is the Bagni Misteriosi facility, an open-air swimming pool, a former Caimi Bathing Center from the 1930s returned to the city not only as a swimming pool but as a venue for events.
