A cosmopolitan space

Combo is a large house full of people, an integrated hostel, a tranquil retreat bursting with life, where you can meet friends, work, relax, sip an aperitivo, eat a snack, see an exhibition or attend a presentation, and a crossroads of ideas and artistic expressions that aims to give a new meaning to the concept of hospitality. In keeping with the cosmopolitan spirit of Milan, a city that is always focused on the future, albeit deeply rooted in tradition, Combo is housed in a “banister house” in one of the city’s jealously guarded secret courtyards on the Navigli, in a space spread over 3,800 sq.m. “It was a large house because we were people with big plans”. In addition to being the opening of “Full of Life”, one of John Fante’s best-loved novels, this is the catch phrase that Combo’s founders like to use when introducing it.

A cosmopolitan space

Combo is not just a 217-bed hostel; it’s a bar, a restaurant, a radio station, an art gallery, an events space and a stone courtyard surrounded by greenery, where you can stop and take a break from this city that never sleeps. The cuisine at Combo is based on the concept of sharing. Breakfast is international, while from noon until late at night the menu is dynamic, intuitive and ideal for a meal, or just a quick break. Offerings include a mixture of Mediterranean flavours, Caribbean influences, street food and traditional Italian dishes. Additionally, the venue’s weekend brunch is an absolute must.
