The CityLife district in Milan is one of the city’s new hubs of attractions, the result of an in-depth urban redevelopment project of an area that once housed the city’s fairgrounds (locals know it also as ‘Ex Milano fiera district’).
Today, a new, ultra-modern district, featuring an upscale mixture of beautiful residential and commercial architecture, has replaced the fairgrounds. The area is dominated by three innovative towers built by star architects Zaha Hadid, Arata Isozaki and Daniel Libeskind (the building designed by the latter is still under construction), surrounded by the third largest park in the city (after Parco Sempione and Giardini di Porta Venezia), measuring more than one hundred thousand square metres, and a large shopping district complete with shops, bars, restaurants and a multiplex cinema.

The area is also home to a number of luxury residential complex, also designed by Hadid and Libeskind. These superbly designed buildings are eco-sustainable and set within the green surroundings of the park and public vegetable gardens. If you are a follower of Italian fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni, you will see from her home-selfies that she lives right in one of these apartments, with her fiancé Fedez!

CityLife’s exclusive, beautifully conceived apartments are surrounded by vast pedestrianized areas. A modern system of underground parking spaces and garages has totally eliminated the problem of aboveground parking. Available facilities include vegetable gardens, a driving range and tennis courts.
