The Studio Museo Francesco Messina houses 80 sculptures and more than 25 works on paper by the Sicilian artist Francesco Messina (1900-1995). Most of the works are in bronze, as well as works in terracotta, plaster, marble and wax. The Museum, which is located in the deconsecrated church of San Sisto, has been hosting events dedicated to contemporary art since 2014, making it a workshop open to contemporary stimuli and a public and free place to present the works of young emerging artists.
