A unique destination for shopping, culture and entertainment, the Franciacorta Outlet Village offers visitors a selection of more than 190 shops thanks to the addition of a new wing highlighted by an elegant gallery. A destination whose allure is further heightened during the holiday season thanks to dazzling decorations, decorative lights, carts selling sweet treats, a merry-go-round and a large ice rink set up in the middle of the square, dominated by the village’s traditional, brightly coloured Christmas tree. Start your Christmas experience with a visit to the outlet’s art gallery where, until 31 January, you can admire a selection of site-specific works by Como-born artist Mr. Savethewall, one of the key exponents of Neo-Italian Pop Art. But there’s more. In addition to other exciting innovations, the Franciacorta Outlet Village now boasts a slew of new arrivals including the sales points of big-name brands like Pal Zileri, Flavio Castellani, Caractère, Cinzia Rocca, Romeo Gigli, Angelico, Elena Mirò, Champion, Sunglass Hut and Momonì.

How to get there

The Village can be accessed from Milan via a convenient Shopping Shuttle that departs daily from at 11am and returns at 6.30pm from Largo Cairoli. Travelers on the Shopping Shuttle will be eligible to receive a One Day Card, a loyalty card offering additional discounts on outlet prices. (€20 booking on line: www.zaniviaggi.it)

In discovery of local food and wine culture

The outlet also offers visitors an opportunity to visit one of the region’s fabulous local wineries aboard the Shopping Shuttle. Highlights include a guided tour of the winery, a wine tasting session and a chance to meet the winemakers and learn about the process (€49). December’s winery of the month is the Abrami Elisabetta wine estate in Provaglio d’Iseo (www.vinielisabettaabrami.it).
