A dream of mine has always been vising Venice to see the absence of streets only to be replaced by an intricate system of narrow canals guided by gondolas. But after an extensive stay in Europe, I was exhausted of planning out trip details. For once, I wanted a worry-free travel experience where I could sit-back, relax and simply enjoy what I was seeing. Then the perfect solution came to my attention, when I was offered a Venice day trip through touring company Zani Viaggi.
My personal experience working with Zani Viaggi was easy, efficient and effortless; exactly what I was looking for. The only hard part was selecting which Italian tour I wanted to take as they offered a wide selection of specialized trips.  Once selected and the tour confirmed, the only thing I had to do was wait until departure time.
When d-day finally arrived, I checked myself in with the tour guide and took a seat on the bus. During the ride to Venice, our Zani Viaggi guide provided the group with interesting background information and facts about the city. Did you know Venice is made up of 118 islands and shaped like a fish?
Upon arriving in Venice, we were greeted by a local tour guide who ended up taking us in every little nook and cranny of the city, showing us the best places to grab a bite to eat and shop for the perfect souvenir. Zani Viaggi even gave our tour group the opportunity to watch a Murano Glass Master make a glass product; something I wouldn’t have set up if I was planning a visit to the city by myself.
Once the local-guided tour of Venice was complete, the group had the option of either taking a gondola ride or exploring the city independently. The only condition was everyone had to be at the designated departure spot at the given time. Zani Viaggi’s Venice tour was the perfect mix of structure and freedom.
From one tourist to another, Zani Viaggi provided me with a remarkable and memorable Italian experience.
