UPDATING (December 2022) – The restaurant has definitely been closed.

Milan finally has a locale signed by the multi-award winning Alajmo brothers. Together with his brother Raffaele, Massimiliano Alajmo, the youngest chef in the world to have received three Michelin stars, manages the kitchens often restaurants between his native Veneto and Paris, a line of gastronomic products and an events company. Amor, the name of the Alajmo brothers’ new Milanese venue, was designed by the renowned Philippe Starck, and is located in Corso Como, in the heart of the Milanese movida. But don’t expect an ultra-chic multi-starred restaurant, because Amor re-invents the Milanese fast-casual format with a menu that focuses on steamed pizza, a light, tasty version patented by Massimiliano Alajmo.

At Amor, you can choose to eat standing up at the counter or sitting down at one of the tables (however, seated service is only available in the evening). Alternately, you can order take away. Open from breakfast to dinner, you can pop in for a quick, tasty, healthy, light meal. Who’s behind this architectural concept? Philippe Starck has designed the locale bearing the two elements that characterize Massimiliano Alajmo’s cuisine in mind: creativity and ‘Venetian essence’. The result is a modern, well-lit open-plan space, enhanced with a touch of typical Starck audacity, perfectly in keeping with Venice’s irreverent, carefree spirit.
