NEW OPENING
Bakery and pastry shop Pandenus has opened its sixth store in Milan, immersed in the green hub of the city, Porta Nuova. Spread over an overall surface of 220 sq.m and embellished by a patio overlooking the street, the bakery can pride itself on an important collaboration with multi-awarded chef Enrico Bartolini. From 7pm up to 11pm, the bakery indeed turns into the ‘Bistro by Bartolini’, a space where discerning diners can enjoy classics of the Italian cuisine enhanced by a twist. Highlights include “Agnolotto del plin, shallot, parsley sauce and taggiasca olives”, “Pan di Sù”, Pandenus’ signature tiramisu and a selection of gourmet pizzas made of organic flours. The whole culinary offer, which includes also Hawaiian Pokés to be eaten on the spot on the go, focaccias, freshly-baked bread, cakes and croissants can be enjoyed from breakfast until aperitivo-time paired with coffee creations and cocktails alike. The whole architectural project created by Patrizia Quartero in collaboration with Giuseppina Motta’s Mpa architetti is based on the use of wood and stone, designed to highlight the nearby green spaces.
