Eddy Monetti's New Boutique in San Babila

Eddy Monetti’s story began in Naples in 1887, when Eduardo Monetti opened a milliner’s shop in the heart of the centre. More than 130 years later, Eddy Monetti is still a family-run business, boasting several boutiques throughout the world, plus in-store destinations at prestigious multi-stores. Eddy Monetti’s home in Milan has always been San Babila, but the brand recently relocated to via San Pietro all’Orto, in the heart of the Quadrilatero della Moda. Spread over three floors, the new boutique has retained the intimate, welcoming atmosphere that distinguishes all the brand’s standalone stores. Highlights include a bar, a corner featuring a grand piano, books by Taschen, and a charming terrace on the first floor, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee accompanied by ‘sfogliatelle’ (a typical, shell-shaped Neapolitan pastry filled with custard). It’s the ideal setting to host the brand’s wide assortment of chic, high-end men and women’s apparel. All items are handmade and flanked by a chic, seasonal collection of leisurewear.
