Aspesi’s dream of including the maison’s entire creative universe in one iconic space, while maintaining its mission to promote Made in Italy style, has been on the cards for some time. And now, the Lombardy brand has transformed the spaces of a former bank into its Milanese flagship store. Spread over a sizeable area of 600 square meters on two floors, the store’s interiors were designed by architecture firm Dordoni Architetti. The brand’s CEO Fabio Gnocchi explains that the Aspesi flagship store aims to “capture the essence of Aspesi at its best, to evolve and explore contemporary design, and to stay true to our signature no-logo elegance.”
There is an eclectic mixture of post-industrial materials, PVC, Plexiglas inside the store, where wood and wrought iron interact with walls plastered in shades of powder pink, sage green and ochre to create an atmosphere that is both relaxing and exciting. An inner courtyard and large windows that flood the space with natural light complete the whole.

The two floors of the store, which act as a meeting point between shopping and art, are connected by two large brightly coloured staircases, enhanced by the works of emerging artists, whose creations are displayed on a rotational basis. The ground floor hosts the latest collection of men’s clothing and accessories, while the upper floor is dedicated to women’s wear.
