Since June 2018 Vacheron Constantin, one of the most prestigious watch manufacturers in the world, has a new home in Milan. The Maison opened an exclusive, two-level Boutique overlooking via Verri, the elegant street intersecting with the more famous via Montenapoleone in the heart of the city. With this prestigious address, the Geneva-based Maison wants to build a ‘special bond’ with timepiece enthusiasts who live in Milan or are visiting the city. The space was designed by the architect Filippo Gabbiani of Kokai Studios, who aimed to create a warm, refined atmosphere allowing watch enthusiasts and collectors a chance to further appreciate the culture, history and tradition of excellence that defines the world of Vacheron Constantin. The Boutique was established in collaboration with Pisa Orologeria, a historic Milanese luxury watch retailer defined by Brand Manager Marco Pagani as “a starred partner that has always promoted the Maison with dedicated spaces to present its collections and convey its passion for Haute Horologerie to our discerning clientele.” His sentiments are echoed by Chiara Pisa, the CEO of the family-run business who says: “We are honoured to host this important Maison in our spaces which, since our inception, have been used to share the tradition and culture of watchmaking.”
The new Boutique of Vacheron Constantin, the oldest manufacturer of fine watches in the world, carries the manufacturer’s entire range of watches – displayed on the first floor – plus several special limited editions including ‘Patrimony’, ‘Traditionnelle’, ‘Métiers d’Art’, ‘Overseas’, ‘FiftySix’ and ‘Historiques’. The top floor hosts a sophisticated American Bar where visitors can ‘unwind’ in the area’s elegant spaces.
