Starting from today the historic “Carrelli” trams from 1928 become transport for tourists, accompanying them to discover monuments, palazzi, museums, streets and buildings of the past and present history of Milan, with the company of an audio guide app already available for smartphones and tablets.
The trams team up with the Gran Turismo fleet of busses that now doubles the available routes.
It is a service by ATM City Tour.

Hop on – Hop off,  7/7, 48h

You can get on and off the tram at any of the scheduled stops along the four routes; the trams and buses together reach more than 60 points of interest throughout the city.
You can get on from Monday to Sunday, for 48 hours since the time you use your ticket.

Once you’re on board, scan the QR Code on the tram/bus to turn the audio guide on. It will provide information on all the places of interest through geolocation

Tickets

Full price tickets are €15, reduced tickets at a price of €5 for youngsters from 5 to 12 are available, as well as tickets at €10 for ATM subscribers. Children under the age of 5 can have free trips.

Stops: Piazza Castello (start), Duomo, Piazza Missori, Piazza XXIV Maggio, Piazza Sant’Eustorgio, Piazza Cordusio, Cenacolo Vinciano, TriennaleArco della Pace, Piazza Gramsci, Monumentale, Arena Civica, Teatro Strehler, Piazza Castello.

Tram Line 2: From Piazza Castello, first departure 9:40am, last departure 5:40pm. Duration approx. 2 hours. Stops: Piazza Castello (start), Duomo, Via Correnti – Piazza Res. Partigiana, Piazza XXIV Maggio, Porta Romana, Piazza Cinque Giornate, Porta Venezia, Piazza della Repubblica, Stazione Porta Garibaldi, Monumentale, Stazione Porta Garibaldi, Piazza Cavour, Teatro alla Scala, Piazza Castello.

Bus Line 1: Da Corso Europa – San Babila, first departure 10am, last departure 6pm. Duration approx. 1 hours. Stops: Corso Europa – San Babila (start), Corso Di Porta Vittoria – Largo Augusto, Palazzo di Giustizia, Viale Regina Margherita – Via Besana, Porta Romana, Porta Lodovica, Piazza XXIV Maggio, Museo Scienza e Tecnologia, Piazza Res. Partigiana, Colonne San Lorenzo, Corso Italia – Via Santa Sofia, Via F. Sforza – Via Andreani, Corso Europa – San Babila.

Bus Line 2: Da Corso Europa – San Babila (start), first departure 10:25, last departure 18:35. Duration approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes.
