MAIO Restaurant's New Design Updates

NEW OPENING

One of the reference points for lovers of top-quality cuisine overlooking the Duomo – MAIO Restaurant – has been given a makeover. The spaces of the Terrazza, the Restaurant and the Champagne Bar, indeed, now feature a new distinctive attire designed by Giorgia Longoni Studio created to reflect the venue’s and the cuisine’s contemporaneity and creativity. Sitting at the brand-new green Alpi marble counter of the Champagne Bar guests can enjoy the best bubbly by Moet&Chandon accompanied by raw fish and other delicatessen, while the Restaurant – featuring a mix of grey marble, wood, brass and lighting in copper and green glass – is the ideal destination for those wishing to savour specialities from the Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. Following the renovation of its spaces, MAIO Restaurant has also brought in important changes in its menu. Designed by Chef Luca Seveso, it spans from a rich continental breakfast menu, mixing and matching sweet and savoury recipes, to tasty creations for lunch and dinner such as ‘seared squid with carbonara mousse’, or a selection of traditional risotto, including the Milanese-style saffron risotto.
