NEW OPENING

The vibrant district of Porta Venezia has just seen the opening of a new foodie destination born from the creativity of two female chefs: Indian Ritu Dalmia (the chef to Indian restaurant Cittamani) and the Italian Michelin-starred Viviana Varese (the mind behind VIVA at Eataly). The new Spica restaurant conjures up different cultures of the world thanks to an architectural and culinary journey through 4 geographic areas: South East Asia, India, Europe and America. Inside its spaces, curated by design studio Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, mix and match elements from Asian cultures and a tribute to Milanese designers, such as colourful geometric patterns and fluo details intertwined by furniture in perfect Milanese style from the 1950s and 1960s. Sitting in its joyful ambience evocative of the pleasure of travelling, guests can enjoy delicacies from India, Japan, Myanmar, Thailand, Peru, Mexico, the USA, as well as tasty creations from the Italian and Spanish cuisine, accompanied by an extensive cocktail list.
